She got hit with the cancer stick

My mom has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. She doesn't know it. There is nothing we can do. She's too old for heroic treatment efforts.

Well, at least now I don'[t have to worry I'll die of hep c before she dies of Alzheimer's. There's comfort in that.

I guess.
