2004-12-16 - 7:28 p.m. Stolen from oldhippie, via sixweasels (sorry can't link; html challenged): 1. What did you do in 2004 that you�ve never done before? Faced my own mortality. 2. Did you keep your New Year�s resolutions, and will you make more for this year? Didn't keep 'em, but will try again. 3. Did anyone close to you give birth? Nuh uh. 4. Did anyone close to you die? Not anyone really close, but a few old friends passed on. 5. What countries did you visit? Italy. 6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004? Good health, new job, secure finances, a soul mate. 7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched in your memory, and why? No special dates, but a few special memories (the whole Italy trip, going to the FL beach, making love on the beach in Grand Isle are some) 8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Graduating from college. 9. What was your biggest failure? Not being able to quit drinking. 10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I was diagnosed with both hepatitis c and cirrhosis of the liver. 11. What was the best thing you bought? Ticket to italy 12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Can't think of a soul. 13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Gipsy's and Gabby's come to mind. 14. Where did most of your money go? Bills. 15. What did you get really, really excited about? Going to Italy. 16. What song will always remind you of 2004? "Portland, Oregon" by Loretta Lynn and Jack White 17. Compared to last year, are you happier or sadder? Richer or poorer? Sadder and poorer. 18. What do you wish you�d done more of? Living a healthy lifestyle and making money. 19. What do you wish you�d done less of? Drinking and being sad. 20. How will you be spending Christmas? Gritting my teeth until it's all over. 21. Did you fall in love in 2004?. No. 22. How many one-night stands? One, in Italy. 23. What was your favorite TV Program? No tv. 24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn�t hate this time last year? No, I pretty much hate the same ppl all of the time . . . 25. What was the best book you read? I read so much, it's impossible to pick just one book. 26. What was your greatest musical discovery? That I liked KISS after seeing them live with Flash. 27. What did you want and get? To graduate, go to Italy, um, got laid a lot. 28. What was your favorite film this year? 21 Grams was the only movie I saw, but it was good. 29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Went to the ER for an earache, got drunk; 41. 30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Falling in love and landing the good job with benefits. 31. What political issue stirred you the most? That we re-elected W. Still can't accept it . . . 32. Who did you miss? Donna & Gipsy. 33. Who was the best new person you met? Can't think of a soul that stands out. 34. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004. Value life; it could be gone in an instant. 34. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
