Ivan's coming

Well, Ivan's coming and he's headed our way. It's looking pretty bad. they've started evacuating N0LA, made the southbound lanes of I-55 go north, just as before. They're telling ppl down there to get the fuck out and to keep heading north.

I'm not going into work today. I'm going to try to get that $$ from the finance company and make hurricane preparations. I got a buttload of plants, a bbq grill, lawn chairs, etc to stash away, either inside the shed or in the house. I got to buy charcoal, batteries, candles, dog food, bottled water, tape . . . all the shit you're supposed to keep on hand but i didn't.

It's a little bit exciting, but more scary b/c of all the deaths already. Pray for us, especially N0LA, a city that is so vulnerable to flooding that a heavy thunderstorm puts the cars under already. There's so many w/o means to evacuate. This is our nightmare scenario bearing down on us. Please pray.
